WEDDING PARTY

Syvisoi Reifenberg
Syvi and Jimmy met while working together in Columbus, Ohio and at the time Jimmy was never one to get close to summer interns. That all changed one day after a bonding conversation about, of all things, Coors Light. Little did they know that an amazing and long-lasting relationship would blossom from that moment. Through laughter and tears, not to mention miles and miles they’ve remained very close friends!

Chris Melani
Brian and Chris first met in 1999 as members of the DuBois marching band where they bonded over their love of playing music and mutual friends (hey Kayla!). As time went on this friendship grew into numerous roadtrips and vacations along with their ability to remain in touch no matter time or distance. Always finding a reason to catch up, have a drink and share life experiences Brian continues to push Chris outside his comfort zone (Roseland and Wilton Manors!) while Chris continues to keep Brian grounded in reality. Brian could not be more proud to call Chris his best friend, best man, and forever trusted pal through any curve ball life may throw.

Sam Anderson
Sam and Jimmy share a love of laughter, music and practical jokes usually at one another's expense! After meeting in Columbus, Ohio at a party they knew that they would be life-long friends from the moment they first spoke. Through the years their friendship has grown through travel adventures, tears from laughter and a love for DJing and music. If you need a coupon for a meal at Bob Evans or a doily to decorate Sam is your guy!

Katie Perry
Brian and Katie became instant friends during a 2016 work conference at 4am after making snow angels in confetti on an elevator floor at the Red Rock Resort in Las Vegas - vodka will do that to ya! But ever since, their friendship continued to grow over shared travel experiences, public nonsense, and their ability to never meet a stranger no matter where they go. From crashing resort pools to the Fjords of Norway and a 2020 roadtrip to Savannah, GA that didn’t end so well (again, the vodka) these two have created a lasting friendship and memories that will last a lifetime!

Tommy Hehir
Tommy and Jimmy first met as radio colleagues while Jimmy was working in Columbus, Ohio. Their professional relationship quickly turned into an amazing long-lasting friendship that has stood the test of time! Although the two have never actually lived in the same city, their friendship is a rare example of how distance doesn’t matter. They’ve always found a way to stay in touch for over 25+ years through multiple life-changing events and “stories”.

Alma Saenz
Oh Elmo… where to begin. How about that time Alma secretly gave Brian’s dog the last name Fernandez through the AKC registry. Or the Carnival cruise ship mishaps and unlimited bottles of Bacardi. Or Alma’s attempt at teaching Brian Spanish, “Las camisa son compre uno y el segundo cinquento porciento!” We won’t even discuss horse back riding in Puerto Rico or Almas love of street food in Orlando. Through all of these memorable moments Brian and Alma have also celebrated each others now adult lives through so many cherished moments that will never be forgotten. And Brian may even argue there is no one who knows him better.

Matt Cunningham
Matt and Jimmy met while Jimmy worked for Matt as the resident DJ at his bar in Columbus, Ohio. The two have long bonded over music and complete silliness often finding themselves parked in a corner of the bar or on a country backroad causing mischief, while Matt documents their shenanigans with pics. Over the years their friendship has grown through multiple life events both good and bad making Matt more like a big brother to Jimmy than just a friend.

Kayla Pearce
There are people who come into your life for a multitude of reasons and to Brian, Kayla will always hold a special place in his heart. On April 22nd, 2000 Brian passed Kayla a note on rainbow colored stationary under the seats of a band bus to tell her his secret, that he was gay. From this day on Brian saw Kayla as his protector and someone he knew he could forever trust at a time this struck fear in so many others. From this moment on Kayla stood by Brian’s sides through many life changing moments and experiences. From late nights in Pittsburgh dancing the night away at Pegasus to parties in our first apartments as 22 year old babies and too many road trips to Orlando, Kayla will continue to be “that person” and Brian wouldn’t have it any other way.

Mike Pulcini (L'il Mikey)
Mikey and Jimmy met after Mikey had just moved from Toledo to Columbus. Jimmy was the DJ at Mikey’s favorite hangout bar at the time and the two bonded over Taylor Swift’s first album, which should tell you how long they’ve been friends. Mikey has always had a great way of keeping Jimmy grounded with his direct and no-nonsense advice. Through the years the two have always remained in touch, picking up right where they left off every time they talk or visit.

Mark Zmitravich
Brian would take this back to a time where they never actually met nor did they know what was to come into their adult lives. From their body building fathers in the 80’s to hanging at Eat N Park and DuBois Blockbuster to partying in the dorms at Clarion University and dancing to a good Pussycat Dolls or Danity Cane jam at Coyote Joes there was an unknown bond and friendship building that would last a lifetime. Brian would now say Mark has easily become his partner in crime and knows when they are together some sort of mischief is about to be had! Parties and history aside, Brian’s most memorable moment with Mark will forever be the day he witnessed the sparks fly when Chris and Mark first met into the love they share today.

Kathy Brown (Jimmy's Sister)
Kathy is Jimmy's big sister and only sibling. Although they're 7 years apart in age they've always been very close even when they were young siblings. Although their mom, Kay isn't able to be physically present for this special day Jimmy couldn't be happier to have his big sis walk him down the aisle. And he's pretty sure she's happy to finally give him away!

Brody (Brody Boy)
Brody came to Jimmy in 2020 after a very ruff life on his own. He's always been a believer in the "slow and steady" approach to life and such was the case when Brian came into the picture. Through the occasional new toy, treats and plenty of ear rubs he quickly knew that he was ready to embrace a new member of his pack. Although he won't make an appearance at the wedding his soulful spirit will be felt.

Jovi (Stinky)
Jovi has been with Brian since she was just a cotton ball in the palm of his hand. When she first met Jimmy she approached him with a heart full of love, a tail that never stopped wagging and breath that could clear a room. Over the years Jovi has embraced her new dog dad and her affectionate new nickname "stinky". Although she won't be in attendance there's no doubt her playful energy and infectious spirit will be felt!
